This is a great read! I agree with your views, especially in regards to your family and your responsibilities. If we are the best we can be, that’s all we can ask of ourselves and all anyone can ask of us. You gave me a lot to reflect on.

One theing I never really get is why it seems a person cannot believe in the big bang and God. Like it’s one or the other (and I don’t want to start anything here cause I don’t think that’s what you meant here, that sentence just sparked a thought) .

I thought marriage was a big responsibility, and then when you throw kids in the mix, my head almost explodes!

I was raised Catholic and got married in a Lutheran church. I even had my son baptized Lutheran, but I am the furthest thing from religious. I believe that is important for me to be a good person, treat other people as I would want to be treated and do whatever I have to do to fulfill my families needs. Like you it just makes more sense to me that way, but it is an awesome responsibility.
